تحضير بولى استر يعتمد على تفاعل الأوليجومرات الناتجة من تدوير زجاجات المياه الطبيعية والغازية المصنعة من مادة البولى إيثيلين تيرفثالات (PET). وقد تم دراسةالتركيب الكيميائى للبولى استر المحضر باستخدام تقنيات طيف الأشعة تحت الحمراء (IR) و الرنين النووى المغناطيسى (NMR). وقد تم تحضيرالمستحلب المائى للراتنج ( البولى استر الناتج مع الاستيرين). وتمت دراسة الخواص الميكانيكية للمستحلب المائى النهائى المتصلد و كذلك بالاضافة الى الميكروسكوب الالكترونى الماسح لتلك العينات لتقييم المنتج النهائى. و بعد التأكد من مطابقة مواصفات المنتج النهائى للمتطلبات العلمية والعملية فقد تم استخدام المستحلب المائى للبولى استر المحضر من عملية تدوير زجاجات المياه الطبيعية والغازية المصنعة من مادة البولى إيثيلين تيرفثالات فى صنع مجموعة من التماثيل تنتمى الى ثلاث أشكال فرعونية لكل من توت عنخ امون و نفرتيتى و القط الأسود. و تعتبر هذه الدراسة ذات قيمة علمية وعملية من حيث استخدام المخلفات الصلبة فى تحضير متراكبات بوليمرية لها العديد من الأستخدامات

Unsaturated polyester resin was synthesized from the depolymerization of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles waste. The chemical composition of the resulting polyester was analyzed using infrared (IR) spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques. Water-extended polyester was also prepared from this polyester based on PET bottles waste. The mechanical properties of the prepared cured water-extended polyester were evaluated, and the samples were examined using scanning electron microscopy to assess the final product. After confirming that the end product met both scientific and practical standards, the aqueous emulsion of polyester made from PET bottles was used to produce a series of statues representing three pharaonic figures: Tutankhamun, Nefertiti, and a black cat. This study holds both scientific and practical significance, as it demonstrates the potential of converting solid waste into polymer composites with a variety of applications.
