استخدمت برامج المحاكاة ثلاثية الأبعاد في محاكاة القماش وإنسداله بالشكل الذي يتلائم مع المانيكان الإفتراضي للجسم البشري والذي يبنى على أساس المقاسات الشخصية ويتناسب مع النموذج والخامة ليتم عرض الشكل النهائي للتصميم ليساهم في تقليل الوقت اللازم للتصميم وتكلفة التشغيل للعينات من خلال تقليل عدد العينات الحقيقية المنفذة مما يساعد فى تطوير وتحسين المنتج. ويجب أن تكون المحاكاة ثلاثية الأبعاد ذات مستوى عالي من الكفاءة في تصميم حركة متزامنة ومناسبة لحركة الأقمشة وإنسداليتها وتناسبها مع حركة الجسم، وكلما ازداد تعقد أنظمة المحاكاة كلما زادت صعوبة التصميم.

Three-dimensional simulation programs were used to simulate the cloth and set it in a way that is compatible with the virtual mannequin of the human body, which is based on personal measurements, and commensurate with the pattern and material, so that the final shape of the design contributes to reducing the time required for design and the operating cost of samples by reducing the number of real samples executed, which helps in developing and improving the product, and the three-dimensional simulation must be highly efficient in designing simultaneous movement and suitable for the movement of fabrics and their drape to match the movement of the body, and the more complex the simulation systems, the more difficult it will be.
