تم تطوير حفاز محلي الصنع باستخدام خامات طبيعية متوافرة في البيئة المصرية، بهدف تكسير الصبغات الصناعية وإزالة الملوثات العضوية من المياه بكفاءة عالية. يتميز الحفاز بثباته الكيميائي وقدرته على العمل في ظروف تشغيل مختلفة، مما يجعله مناسبًا لتطبيقات صناعية متعددة في مجالات معالجة مياه الصرف وشركات الصبغات والمنظفات. يمثل هذا المنتج بديلًا اقتصاديًا للحفازات المستوردة، حيث يحقق وفرًا سنويًا في فاتورة الاستيراد يقدَّر بنصف مليون دولار أمريكي، مع إمكانية إنتاجه على نطاق أوسع مستقبلاً. كما يمتاز بإمكانية تصديره للأسواق الخارجية بفضل كفاءته العالية وتكلفته المنخفضة.

A locally manufactured catalyst has been developed using naturally available Egyptian raw materials for the efficient degradation of industrial dyes and organic pollutants in wastewater. The catalyst shows high chemical stability and strong performance under various operating conditions, making it suitable for large-scale applications in dyeing and detergent industries. This product offers an economical alternative to imported catalysts, with an estimated annual import cost saving of around USD 500,000. It has been successfully prepared at the laboratory scale and is ready for pilot-scale production, with good potential for export due to its high efficiency and competitive price
